I don't really save MSN conversations by choice - Adium does it for me. But I'm totally listening to Easypickens right now, and up next is Blackbird, the earliest Mindstone song in existence - as far as I know.
Some people collect Pokemon cards, I collect songs from friends.

Blackbird- earliest recorded mindstone song
and now for a brief and inaccurate history lesson
2001-"Gensis of greatness" Oldmanbottle- first mindstone song. It was about the man who Rajic would yell at for going through the Hamilton Jr High dumpster. This fact is of course arguable- Robbie Whorelacker (sic) and Zak "the porker" Elliot were both in the lineup which jammed (but never performed) under the name "Never ending sidewalk". Zak left the band after a he was asked/forced to learn eve 6 songs by ear on the keyboard. Robbie left for reasons unknown (possibly to spend more time at A+W).
2001-2002, "the book of Foote" The band, with the 3 core mindstone members (Arnold, Brown, Pushor), then adopted the name "the world of fear". This named was abandoned after a trip home from Fort Mac (the one near lethy... not the oily northern hell-hole where idiots go to get paid way too much money, which is ultimately blown (pun) on coke and over sized trucks). Figure eight auto racing still sucks.
After W.O.F. they took on the name "Detached" (picture Melissa Foote and Megan Anderson) playing gigs at various venues (ie Mike Mountain horse, UDAC, Hamilton-big-gym-Jr High). The band took up residency at a local church (UDAC) providing them with a place to jam/bring girls. For a short period of time Mike Brown was replaced (due to the fact that he was dating Mellisa Foote) by a guy named Alex (last name is forgettable- damn drugs) Detached was abandoned after some southern american wannabe's threatened to sue over the name via a very poorly written email.
2003-2006, "Gorgon, UDAC and the Gate aka THE GLORY YEARS" The band then returned, and settled on the name Mindstone (they had toyed with this name, based/ripped off Dr. Richards Steppenwolfe cover band of the 70's). Alex was replaced by former guitarist Mike Brown after HE (Alex) started dating Melissa Foote. The band, supported by their loyal blue train followers, began playing several gigs and various venues including, UDAC, the Gate (every weekend?), a barn in Raymond, and the LCI. This was also the phase in which the infamous "summer party bus tour" occured.
Mindstone played these shows with other local acts that include the notable (pun) Raining confusion, and Invein.
During the golden years several side projects also began to take shape, including Mr Class and Quality, Marty Follinger and the Blue Train band and of course ENGINE (arguably the greatest super group Lethbridge has ever seen).
2007- "Migration to the West- the end of an era... or was it?" Mindstone moved to Vancouver. Pushor got lonely for his Jaws and returned to the 'bridge and Arnold joined Incura (formerly Invein). End of Mindstone. This period of time included the also infamous "mindstone house" and the blowing of the budget on foam puzzle pieces.
2009 "the rumblings of return" Pushor (after several infidelities) left Jaws, found Vern' and returned to Vancouver. Mindstone reformed but with a new guy on drums who's name I don't know. Arnold is still part of the line-up- not sure what he is responsible for.

They key (in anything) is not proving it but rather disproving it.
